Jack Kelly was an American television personality. He was best known for his role as Bart Maverick on the ABC television series Maverick. He also served as mayor of Long Beach, California from 1983 to 1986. Kelly died of a stroke in 1992. In game shows, Kelly was the first host of the original Sale of the Century from 1969-1971, before being replaced by Joe Garagiola.
