Theodore William Fauss (born June 30, 1961 in Clinton, New York) is a retired American ice hockey defenceman. He played in the NHL for the Toronto Maple Leafs. He played for Clarkson University from 1979 to 1983. No NHL team drafted him but after his graduation the Montreal Canadiens signed him as a free agent in 1983. Fauss played in the American Hockey League in 1983-84 for the Nova Scotia Voyageurs and in 1984-85 for the Sherbrooke Canadiens. In 1985 he won the Calder Cup. In 1993 Fauss made a comeback with the Utica Bulldogs and retired for good in 1994.

In 1993 Fauss made a comeback with the Utica Bulldogs and retired for good in 1994.
