Both nations were of the frame of mind of two friends by association separated by cataclysmic events. The Tang now had problems with Nihhon, a once fractious island nation paying tribute to the Sinicans but now united by a Daimyo who put the Roman technologies of vaposcurr and the Sinican invention of niter powder and rockets into use. The Nihonians somehow against even the plagues that decimated the known world had created an empire continuing to grow at a slow but unstoppable pace, already several territories not directly owned or allied to the Tang in the Yellow Sea area had fallen to the new empire. The commanding dynasty called the Heian also encouraged great cultural growth in the nation during the time of world-wide illness. As of yet Nihhonia seemed to have no immediate intension of direct war with the Sinican Empire but they sure weren’t friendly. 1734(981) the city of Moskva was founded. After conquering Bactria in 1734(981) and with great difficulty, for even Rome’s Vapscurr took time to travel so far, India was conquered with Sinican support over the next 40 years (though the whole of the officially recognized region was declared conquered in just 10). The civilizing of India had much potential for bettering both trade (indigo dye, jute, silk, and tea) and the lives of the locals.
