Lady Eluin is a Witch and not one to be messed with. As a child, she had a tragic past, she was once part of a vast coven of Witches; powerful spellcasters that were sensible enough to keep their heads down. If people came along needing help, alliance or horde, they helped them. However, if there were people stupid enough to come looking for a fight, they were removed from existance or cursed for endless pain. Unfortunately, they became quite famous and during the rise of the Lich King, they were deemed a threat to his plans. He sent the scourge on a hunt for them, being nomads they were constantly moving and fairly hard to track. The witches then sought the protection of the Knights of the Forgotten. However, if there were people stupid enough to come looking for a fight, they were removed from existance or cursed for endless pain. Unfortunately, they became quite famous and during the rise of the Lich King, they were deemed a threat to his plans. He sent the scourge on a hunt for them, being nomads they were constantly moving and fairly hard to track. The witches then sought the protection of the Knights of the Forgotten. Their leader declined their pleads for help for being Witches. The Witches were found in the Barrens on their way to Orgrimmar and slaughtered. Eluin ran and hid at the Horde's outpost at the Crossroads. The last of the Witch Covens was slaughtered during the night. Eluin was looked after by the Crossroads warriors and taken to the Sunstrider Isle to be trained in magic. Eluin returned to the place where her people were killed and salvaged some of their spellbooks, determined to carry on the legends of the Witches. She lived for 68 years with a small orc family in the Barrens and trained in the arts of Witchcraft.
