  • "Spiderwebs" is a song by No Doubt which was written by band mate Tony Kanal. It's about a girl who is frustrated because an annoying guy keeps calling her. Despite her efforts to blow him off, he keeps calling, meaning she now has to screen her phone calls. With the refrain, "Leave a message and I'll call you back," this became a popular song for people to leave as a message on their answering machines. An additional video was made for release in Japan. This one showed the band in a Japanese restaurant and at a wedding reception as different Japanese phrases came across the screen.
  • File:GCwer71390155774.jpg Spiderkit and Webkit were born on the same night, but Webkit is weak and Spiderkit is a bully. Watch as the two grow up and try to work out their differences... or in some cases, refuse to.
  • Spiderwebs is a ska punk song written by Gwen Stefani and Tony Kanal for No Doubt's third studio album Tragic Kingdom (1995). It was released as the album's second single in 1996. When "Spiderwebs" reached the radio airwaves in the U.S, it began a revival of the ska genre. The song was first featured in the first set of songs in the Nintendo DS video game Guitar Hero: On Tour, and later appeared in Guitar Hero World Tour.
  • Spiderwebs can be fairly easily seen as a symbol of feeling trapped, with cobwebs giving a sense of forgetfulness and the forgotten, but spiderwebs themselves can represent long passages of time (eqasily seen on plenty of prison tattoos) Spiderwebs can also be seen to symbolize painstaking work that pays of in artistic beauty.
  • Luke... has a problem. After discovering that the three creepy girls at school are a coven of witches, he steals a spellbook from them, but discovers that there are... certain things one does not do when meeting a sentient deity. Now turned into an avatar of Selena, goddess of the moon, Luke has all the magic available to him that he might want... Except men can't be witches, as everyone tried to explain to him... A webcomic by the artist of New Worlds, which was on hiatus but is now being continued as a bonus comic. Spiderwebs can be read in its entirety here.

The song is a combination of ska and pop. With its ubiquitous airplay for months, more ska-flavored singles became prevalent in later years such as The Mighty Mighty Bosstones' "The Impression That I Get", Save Ferris' "Come On Eileen", and The Specials' "A Little Bit You, A Little Bit Me".
