In 2011, to promote the release of Cars 2, Pixar created a commercial for Target featuring Lightning McQueen, Francesco Bernoulli, Minny, and Mater. In the commercial Lightning is racing through a highway, when Francesco speeds past him saying he thought he was a stop sign. They begin to race each other, going even faster.
