Baron Pimen Harkonnen-Rabban used his fortune to stage massive recreations of ancient gladiatorial contests in which men and beasts fought each other to the death. When he threatened to disinherit his wife and son, he was thrown by them into the ring and was killed by one of the gladiators before his guards could intervene.
