Reverend Richard Frederick Hosken (1 December 1837 - 27 January 1907) was a Church of England clergyman. Born in Cornwall, in 1849 he entered the Merchant Taylors School. He was ordained as a priest and served as curate in Ardfert, County Kerry, Ireland. He also completed a Master of Arts degree at Trinty College Dublin. Returning to England in 1875 he was appointed an assistant master at his old school. In 1877 he became curate at St Bartholomew, Moor Lane, a parish in the City of London. He died in Friern Barnet in 1907, aged 69.

He was co-opted onto the London School Board to fill a casual vacancy in the representation of the Finsbury Division on 23 June 1899 and held his seat as an "Independent Moderate" at the 1900 school board elections. He remained a member until the board's abolition in 1904. He unsuccessfully attempted to win a seat on the London County Council in the year of the school board's abolition, as a Moderate Party candidate for Finsbury Central. He was subsequently elected to Finsbury Borough Council. He died in Friern Barnet in 1907, aged 69.
