Of the many Mushrooms common throughout Middle-Earth many had mildly curative virtuues, best known the Jelly Fungi, Inky caps, Caterpillar Fungi, Bearded Hedgehog Mushroom, Turky Tail, Sheep#s Head, Tree Mushrooms, Oakwood Mushroom and the Black leg. Among the more potent (and rare) varieties the most noteworthy were the Carnestad, Lemsang, Madarch, Zulsendura, Tarnas, Zur, Norrog, Kuwurn yorf and Hwanestad.
