In the late years of M38 Karak Aldestan was once a deemed member of the Ordo Astophaticus and a talented psyker with an incredible talent of foresight. His prophecies were written down and often used as a basis for decisions not only by the Ecclesiarchy but also by highranking members of the Imperial Army. The moment he offered his insight to the masses he was declared heretic and burned. The Inquisition banned all his presage under penalty of death and purged the libraries sector-wide of it. The truth is only known to those brothers and a handful of high-ranking members of the Inquisition.

  • In the late years of M38 Karak Aldestan was once a deemed member of the Ordo Astophaticus and a talented psyker with an incredible talent of foresight. His prophecies were written down and often used as a basis for decisions not only by the Ecclesiarchy but also by highranking members of the Imperial Army. In the end his talent was his stumbling block. Coming to age he got more and more stubborn and insisted that his prophecies are made public regardless of their possible impact on imperial society. His last augury was about the fall of The Iron Collar and the dawn of an unspeakable chaotic Messiah. He was ordered to stand down but did not. The moment he offered his insight to the masses he was declared heretic and burned. The Inquisition banned all his presage under penalty of death and purged the libraries sector-wide of it. There are rumours in the high ranks of the Inquisition that there is a copy left somewhere in the null-field vaults deep within a secret fortress of some legendary brotherhood. The truth is only known to those brothers and a handful of high-ranking members of the Inquisition. [Privy to User:BelniFore and User:MaWelt] A copy of the infamous prophecy is locked away in the vaults of Watch Fortress Ericho but the augury itself is also known to a highly secretive group of Sisters of Battle, called The Iron Guard. The exact founding date of [[The Iron Custodians]] is lost to history but it is assumed that it took place short after the execution of Aldestan.
