| - Adam Brown studied at the John O'Gaunt Community Technology College in Hungerford, Berkshire. Following his time at John O’Gaunt, he trained in Performing Arts at Middlesex University, London, where he met Clare Plested and helped co-found the British comedy theatre troupe 'Plested and Brown'. He has written and performed in all seven of their shows to date: Carol Smillie Trashed my Room, The Reconditioned Wife Show, Flamingo Flamingo Flamingo, Hot Pursuit, Minor Spectacular, Health & Stacey and The Perfect Wife Roadshow. He is a regular at the Edinburgh Festival and has toured with his company across the UK as well as performances in Armenia, South Korea, and New Zealand.

- Adam "The Flying Scotsman" Brown (February 4, 1920, in Johnstone, Scotland – August 9, 1960) was a Canadian ice hockey forward. He was raised in Canada. His son Andy also played in the National Hockey League as a goaltender. Brown started his National Hockey League career with the Detroit Red Wings in 1942. He would also play with the Chicago Blackhawks and Boston Bruins. He would leave the NHL after the 1952 season. He won the Stanley Cup in 1943 with the Detroit Red Wings. Brown retired in 1955. He played in a total of 391 NHL games and scored 104 goals and 113 assists.
