Michael Forney (born May 14, 1988) is a American ice hockey player. Forney was drafted 80th overall by the Atlanta Thrashers in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft. He played junior hockey for the Des Moines Buccaneers in 2005-06 and with the Green Bay Gamblers in 2008-09. In between Forney played for the North Dakota Fighting Sioux. He turned pro in 2009-10 with the Gwinnett Gladiators and the Chicago Wolves.
