Filip Skutela is a Polish composer and pianist. He was born on April 24, 1984 in Poznań, Poland. He graduated Faculty of Psychology in Warsaw. As a musician, he never attended any music lessons nor formal music education. He taught himself about music theory and harmony, and composed his first music piece at the age of 10. For many years he is closely connected with and Academy of Music in Poznań as an independent composer and pianist. After winning many composition contests (Portamento, Poland 2004), (Solmio, Finland 2002, 2003, 2004) he became recognized among the music community and started collaboration with Vuokko Salminen, finnish short-film director. Skutela created his own unique substyle of classical and orchestral music by characteristic passage-system and atypical rhythmics. His

As a hobby he was fleetingly involved in demoscene as a chiptune artist, also winning many competitions in 2001-2006. He lives in Poznań and works as music composer and producer.
