The runner up was the Liberation Communists, with the incumbent Democratic Party almost annihilated, pushed into last place. The election was the first election held since Mikuni-Hulstria officially became a democratic republic.

The election was the first election held since Mikuni-Hulstria officially became a democratic republic. The election took place alongside the Presidential Election, which the Liberal Party also won, with a landslide victory in the second round.
