As a result, skillers are restricted in equipment to items with no level requirements; that is, requiring only level one in a given combat skill, usually defence. While skillers, by definition, level only non-combat skills, it is known for some skillers on Soulsplit to level Dungeoneering and Slayer through leeching or XP lamps such as Antique lamps or Odd lamps. A skiller achieving 99 Slayer or 120 Dungeoneering is quite the feat. Some players, however, may level Slayer or Dungeoneering normally and then reset their combat stats and Hitpoints, returning themselves to level three. This tactic is normally considered cheating by pure skillers, who never fight monsters.
