abstract
  • This match against Leeds United was Bristol Rovers' thirty-third League One game of the 2008-09 season, and was the second meeting of the campaign between these two clubs – the first, played more than six months earlier in August, ended in a 2–2 draw. First team coach Paul Trollope named an unchanged squad of sixteen for the second consecutive match. Rovers took the lead early in the game, when Jeff Hughes found the back of the net for the second game in a row. Goals from Becchio and Snodgrass looked to have given Leeds all three points, but a 90th-minute equaliser by Jo Kuffour meant the spoils were shared.
