- Chic Stone (January 4, 1923 – July 28, 2000) was a comic book illustrator who worked on a few issues in the Marvel Star Wars comic series. Stone began in the comic industry working on Fawcett Comics' Captain Marvel in the early 1940s. He worked for several publishers through the 1940s including Timely Comics and Lev Gleason Publications, but would leave comics to work as an art director for various magazines as well as doing storyboard work for television commercials. Stone returned to comics in the 1960s to ink Jack Kirby's pencils regularly at Marvel Comics on titles such as Fantastic Four, X-Men, and Thor.
