Fern Rock Transportation Center is a terminal, owned by SEPTA and the City of Philadelphia. The station is located at 11th & Nedro Streets in North Philadelphia, served by both buses and trains and also served as the terminus for the Broad Street Line (Local, Express & Ridge-Spur on non-peak hours and Saturdays). Buses that run from this station are the routes 4, 28, 57 and 70. Regional Rail Trains also serve Fern Rock. The station was built in September 9, 1956 and rebuilt on March 12, 1992. This is the only train station that runs on the outside.
