Jason Fitzsimmons (born June 3, 1971) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender who is currently a Professional Scout for the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League. Prior to joining the Capitals, Fitzsimmons served five seasons as the head coach and Director of Player Development for the ECHL's South Carolina Stingrays, following an additional four seasons as an assistant coach. Fitzsimmons is a two-time Kelly Cup winner, first as a Stingrays player in 1997, and again as an assistant coach in 2001. The Stingrays became the Capitals' AA affiliate in 2004.

Drafted in the 11th round (227th overall) by the Vancouver Canucks in the 1991 NHL Entry Draft, Fitzsimmons spent portions of his 6-year professional playing career with the Cape Breton Oilers, Hamilton Canucks, Rochester Americans, and Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League, and with the Columbus Chill and Stingrays of the ECHL. He played his junior hockey for the Moose Jaw Warriors of the Western Hockey League.
