Robert Larry Mickey (October 21, 1943 – July 23, 1982) was a Canadian professional ice hockey right winger who played in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Chicago Black Hawks, New York Rangers, Toronto Maple Leafs, Montreal Canadiens, Los Angeles Kings, Philadelphia Flyers and Buffalo Sabres. Mickey started his NHL career with the Black Hawks during the 1964–65 season. He played junior for the Moose Jaw Canucks of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League until 1964. Mickey returned to play for three seasons in from 1978-81 before retiring for good.

  • Robert Larry Mickey (October 21, 1943 – July 23, 1982) was a Canadian professional ice hockey right winger who played in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Chicago Black Hawks, New York Rangers, Toronto Maple Leafs, Montreal Canadiens, Los Angeles Kings, Philadelphia Flyers and Buffalo Sabres. Mickey started his NHL career with the Black Hawks during the 1964–65 season. He played junior for the Moose Jaw Canucks of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League until 1964. For the next four years he played mostly in the minor pros in the Chicago Blackhawks and the New York Rangers systems. In 1968-69 he played as a regular with the Toronto Maple Leafs. After that season he bounced between the minors and the NHL until he retired in 1975 to become a coach of the Dayton Gems of the International Hockey League. Mickey returned to play for three seasons in from 1978-81 before retiring for good. Mickey committed suicide on July 23, 1982 by sitting in his car with the engine running in his garage.
