Tonker(VVM115) was born on March 8, 2005 into the Vivian Mob. His mother was Rhian and his father was Douglas. Tonker was born in a big litter of five pups. His litter-mates were Lucelastik(VVF112), VVF114, Currey Fuzz(VVM113) and Balders(VVM116). His parents were the dominant couple of the Vivian group so Tonker and his litter-mates were well looked after. Sadly VVF114 was predated on May 20, 2005 while foraging with the adults. Lucelastik disappeared on August 23, 2005. The rest of the litter survived to adulthood. Tonker started to rove with the other adult males. By 2007 Tonker was two years old and the oldest subordinate male in the group. Tonker's uncle Jim Bob, who had overthrown Douglas and become dominant male, died from disease on April 22, 2007. Tonker assumed the role of dominant male along side his mother. His brothers Balders and Currey Fuzz left the group and joined the Balrog. Bladers later left the Balrog and joined the Gattaca but was Last Seen on April 17, 2007. Currey Fuzz was later Last Seen on July 1, 2007, leaving Tonker as the last surviving member of his litter. Two wild males joined the Vivian but disappeared after Rhian succumbed to TB. That same month Tonker was seen roving with other males, but returned and re-established himself as the dominant male of the Vivian. In December 2007 Tonker and the remaining Vivian meerkats were Last Seen and the group was considered lost.
