The Code Seven is a bar located in Los Angeles, and named after the police scanner code for "meal break." It was a favorite lunch spot for police officers. On 27 December 1992, LAPD detective Harry Bosch met with DEA agent Rene Corvo at the bar to discuss Humberto Zorrillo. In about 1993 the Code Seven closed due to the recession and was replaced by a pizza restaurant, forcing Bosch to go to other places for lunch.
