In Norse mythology, Fenrir is a monstrous wolf. One of Loki's three children, Fenrir will break free of his chains on Ragnarok to storm Valhalla alongside Hel and the Midgard Serpent. He is fated to devour Odin and in turn be killed by Odin's son Vidar. For complete background see: Fenrir.
