Transcresia, Trans-Cresia, Lesser Cresia, or Cresia Proper, is a term indicating the region previously under the Cresian Empire that is traditionally Cresian-speaking. The extent of Transcresia coincides mostly with the Cresian Empire during the reign of Cresiana IX and the modern definition of the region of Cresia. Transcresia is an exonym—meaning far Cresia, it derives its name from its position with respect to the Vendian Empire. Lesser Cresia and Cresia Proper are terms used by historians to distinguish the Cresian Empire before and after the reign of Cresiana IX.
