It may seem completely silly, but during the verse patterns, think to yourself "chika-chika-BAM-BAM-chika-BAM-BAM-BAM-BAM-chika-BAM-BAM-BAM-BAM" to help get down the strange strumming patterns. However, after four repetitions of this pattern, be prepared for one of the repetitions to start off with a stream of notes very similar to One's Darkness riffs, so strum at that speed and continue like nothing happened.

  • 3's and 7's is a song by Queens of the Stone Age which is about lies and deception. The title does not appear in the lyrics, but it's a reference to a bad poker hand. The singer, without much to work with, tries to bluff his way through life to get what he wants. (thanks, Jeremy - Cypress, CA) 3's and 7's upside down almost spells "LIE" with the 7 being the "L" and the 3 being the "E". This also relates to the meaning of the song. This interpretation has been discussed by many fans, however whether it was intentional is unknown.
