England was a battleground for much of the Second World War. First when Germany invaded in Operation Sealion, and secondly during Operation Boadicea in late 1949, nearly a decade later. Following WWII Britain, along with America and France, has fought the GLF in occupied Germany. The GLF's mass hijacking and crashing of planes led to the destruction of Big Ben. Britain also became the third country to get nukes alongside America and Russia, which helped secure its already tenuous position as a world power.
