  • Carrion Crawlers resemble giant grubs and can be found in caves, sewers or occasionally wandering in the wilderness. They tend to travel in groups of at least two (though they can be encountered alone) and can both paralyse their targets in combat and transmit diseases.
  • The carrion crawler is a monster added in SLASH'EM. It is notable for having 6 attacks, each of which can cause paralysis. This page is a . You could probably [ expand this page] should you wish to do so. A user has suggested improving this page or section as follows:
  • The carrion crawler is a large yellow and green wormlike aberration in the Dungeons & Dragons fantasy roleplaying game.
  • A carrion crawler was a burrowing aberration that scavenged the dead and occasionally preyed on living creatures. Similar to a giant, toothed centipede in appearance, carrion crawlers were often accompanied by a foul odor of death, which warned others of their approach. Although their nature ultimately rested in the Far Realm, it was thought by many, and indeed was possible, that carrion crawlers were created through a mad wizard's experiments.
  • The carrion crawler is a scavenger of subterranean areas, feeding primarily upon carrion. When such food becomes scarce, however, it will attack and kill living creatures. The crawler looks like a cross between a giant green cutworm and a cephalopod. Like so many other hybrid monsters, the carrion crawler may well be the result of genetic experimentation by a mad, evil wizard. The monster's head, which is covered with a tough hide, sprouts eight slender, writhing tentacles. The body of the carrion crawler is not well protected. The monster is accompanied by a rank, fetid odor which often gives warning of its approach.

  • Disgusting! A giant creature, about ten feet long, with dozens of legs, and an armored hide across the top half of its body, a vaguely slimy trail hinting at the soft under-belly. A mass of seething and writhing tentacles grope blindly forwards from its head, both its sense of sight and touch.
