The Iphigini species came from the planet Iphigin, one of the main cargo transfer points for three sectors in the Core Worlds. In 19 ABY, they offered to help mediate a dispute between their neighbors, the Ishori and the Diamala. They were unable to do so, even with the help of Han Solo, Chewbacca, and Luke Skywalker, and the Ishori/Diamala dispute soon became part of the greater Caamas Document crisis. Iphigini had craggy faces and melodious voices. Younger Iphigini often wore braided lip-beards.
