In Super Paper Mario, Red Chomps make a return and appear no where other than in Count Bleck's castle. They appear with much weaker than they did in the previous title with an attack of 3, but their defense has risen up 8. Strangely, they appear much stronger than regular Chain Chomps while in the previous title, it was the exact opposite. Goombella's tattle jokes that they went to a party, fell asleep, and someone spray-painted them red as a prank. This is probably why they're so angry all the time.
