The design that would become known as the Mandalorian Dungeon Ship was first introduced over four thousand years ago, during the Mandalorian Wars. Since then, it has become something of an aged craft. The Empire adopted it to hold Jedi, during the Great Purge and Civil War, and eventually found other uses to go alongside it.

| - The design that would become known as the Mandalorian Dungeon Ship was first introduced over four thousand years ago, during the Mandalorian Wars. Since then, it has become something of an aged craft. The Empire adopted it to hold Jedi, during the Great Purge and Civil War, and eventually found other uses to go alongside it. Cadden Blackthorne as Mandalore had MandalMotors create a new version this ship, the Atiniir-class, for the purpose of deploying it in the New Mandalorian Crusade. It retained much of its original statistics, with the only difference being that the Atiniir-class also served as a landing craft, bringing heavy equipment into battle, such as the feared Terror Walkers. To that end, many segments of this craft were hollowed out from its Lictor-class counterpart, creating a new variant of this ship to serve the Mandalorian war effort.
