Felicia Niocolette "Nicky" Gavron (née Coates) (born 1941) is a Labour Party member of the London Assembly and a former Deputy Mayor of London. Born in Worcester, in 1967 she married Robert Gavron, later Robert Gavron. They divorced in 1997. Elected to Haringey London Borough Council in 1986, and to the London Assembly in 2000 to represent Enfield and Haringey. She was Deputy Mayor of London from 2000-03. Elected to Haringey London Borough Council in 1986, and to the London Assembly in 2000 to represent Enfield and Haringey. She was Deputy Mayor of London from 2000-03. When the second London Mayoral and Assembly elections drew near in 2004, she was chosen as Labour's candidate. She withdrew fro the race when the sitting mayor, Ken Livingstone, rejoined the Labour Party. She was elected as a London-wide member of assembly, and served as Livingstone's Deputy Mayor from 2004-08. She was re-elected as a London-wide member of the assembly in 2008, 2012 and 2016.
