Tanhrism (Jelbék: Танхр'їа, Tanhr'ía), is the traditional belief system of the Jelbic peoples of northern Majatra. It is an animist, shamanistic faith with strong elements of ancestor worship. It is a highly syncretic faith, and the vast majority of the population of Jelbania follows Tanhrist practices while also professing belief in Ahmadism or Hosianism, often to the distaste of the Ahmadi and Hosian religious establishments.
