I would focus on 1 character and try to knock them out first. I would also try to seperate them so they won't all use you as a punching bag. Also, even on hard diffuculty, they may still walk into a warlock punch. Now, if your about to die on your first life, you can try to suicide yourself to take out one of your opponents.
