Cape 'Sametama' (サメの魂の島, Shima no Sametama; Japanese for Cape of the Shark-Souls) is a headlands on the northernmost coast of the Land of Meteors. It possesses a range of small mountains, as well as some valleys and a high plateau. Sametama is notable for its status, for which it is famous in Yorugakure but kept secret almost by official policy in in other areas, as a penal colony of sorts, a depository for those who are considered complete monsters, but either cannot be killed, or when it would be unseemly for them to be executed. Some criminals also escape to here, as the lawlessness makes it nearly impossible to capture outlaws there. Amagasahebi Tennoyari, brother to Jinmu, is the official leader of the region, along with a small team of ninja tasked with keeping it from becoming a nat
