Docking Bay 329 was a docking bay constructed in the western hemisphere of the Galactic Empire's Death Star superweapon, falling under the control of Station Control West. When, in the year 0 BBY, the YT-1300 light freighter known as the Millennium Falcon was pulled by tractor beam into Docking Bay 327, the bay was put on lockdown and all its traffic was diverted into Docking Bays 328 and 329, causing a seven minute delay. Shortly after the Falcon escaped, the docking bay was destroyed along with the rest of the Death Star during the Battle of Yavin.
