| - The Government is one of the three sovereignty organs of the Southern Cross Republic. It is also the organ that conducts politics in general in the country and is also the superior body in public administration. It is called Constitutional because it is so defined in the South Crossic Constitution. Southern Cross Republic is a presidential constitutional republic, based on representative democracy. The government has three independent branches: executive, legislative, and judicial. Executive power is exercised by the executive branch, headed by the President, advised by a Ministerial Cabinet. The President is both the head of state and the head of government. Legislative power is vested upon the Genral Council, an unicameral legislature comprising by Deputies or Councillors. Judicial power is exercised by the judiciary, consisting of the National Justice Court, the Provincial Courts, and the municipal courts. The Constitution is the supreme law of the Southern Cross Republic. It is the foundation and source of the legal authority underlying the existence of Southern Cross Republic and the government. It provides the framework for the organization of the South Crossic government and for the relationship of the government to the provinces, to citizens, and to all people within Southern Cross Republic. The seat of the government is located in Santana.
