During World War II, Jane Martin was a daring war nurse, who was willing to venture into dangerous territory to help save American soldiers. Eventually, as her skills became recognized, she became more of a spy than a nurse. After the war, she became a demonstration pilot, and later, she became a reporter. First, she worked as a reporter for the Daily Star, and later, she worked for the Daily Blade, under city editor Mike Q. O'Rourke.
