She then moved to Hapes and in 10 ABY finally forced Ta'a Chume to abdicate from the throne under threats that Teneniel would expose the fact that Ta'a Chume killed her elder son and that son's fiancée because she did not think that either were strong enough for Hapes. The plan failed when only Teneniel ate the tainted food and Tenel Ka took the Hapan crown.

  • Teneniel Djo was born on Dathomir, the daughter of Allya Djo and the granddaughter of Augwynne Djo. She married Prince Isolder of Hapes, the only living child of the Queen Mother, Ta'a Chume. She then moved to Hapes and in 10 ABY finally forced Ta'a Chume to abdicate from the throne under threats that Teneniel would expose the fact that Ta'a Chume killed her elder son and that son's fiancée because she did not think that either were strong enough for Hapes. Teneniel was assassinated twenty-seven years later. When Teneniel's daughter Tenel Ka Djo proved too stubborn and too strong in the Force to be easily swayed by Ta'a Chume, the aging former Queen Mother waited until Tenel Ka had a daughter of her own - Allana Djo - and then worked to groom Allana to be more like herself. She praised Allana and spoiled her, and then in 37 ABY struck the family by poisoning a food item that Allana did not eat. The goal was to kill Teneniel, Tenel Ka, and Isolder, and leave Allana as a six-year-old Queen Mother in need of a regent Queen Mother. The plan failed when only Teneniel ate the tainted food and Tenel Ka took the Hapan crown.
