Synopsis
| - Word of the gun fight is starting to spread. The police and news media are investigating as Batmam arrives. He checks out the scene with Batgirl's help, reported the information back to Oracle. He determines the survivors; Scarface, Orpheus, Penguin, Mr. Fun, Onyx, Deadshot, Zeiss and Escabedo's bodyguard, who turned up at Leslie Thompkins clinic in bad shape.
Oracle and Batman review the night's events at the clocktower. Meanwhile, retaliation for the shootout stared to ramp up. Batgirl fights in Chinatown to try and stop the violence. Batman tries to talk to Escabedo, but he blames Batman, and it turns into a fight, which is interrupted by an attack by the Odessa Mob.
Orpheus meets with Penguin. Penguin denies starting the war. The violence continues to spread, erupting on the Hill. Batman, Orpheus and Batgirl struggle without success to quell the tide, but it spreads too far, too fast for them to do more than fight fires.

quotation
| - In an ideal world, no blood would have to be spilled. Unfortunately, this is the real world. And the chasm between the two is far and wide.
