| - Wugger was a Dibbun mole, who lived at Redwall Abbey. While roaming on the Abbey ramparts with Blinny, Wugger saw two Marlfoxes on the path below. The foxes asked the pair to open the gate for them, but a thunderstorm broke and trapped the babes on the walltop, where they stayed until Dann and Tragglo rescued them. They were chastised severely for breaking the rules about climbing on walls, and also for fibbing when they tried to tell about the Marlfoxes, as their descriptions were inaccurate and sounded like some sort of imaginary beast.

When the Wandering Noonvale Companions Troupe visited the Abbey, Wugger and Blinny became good friends with the youngest member of the company, Dwopple. The trio got into all sorts of mischief together, ruining rehearsals with pranks, disguising themselves as Marlfoxes in order to pilfer food, and running wild about the grounds. The trio were together when the real Marlfoxes returned and kidnapped Dwopple - Wugger and Blinny told Cregga what had happened, which not only helped save Dwopple but also redeemed the pair from being considered liars by the Abbeybeasts.
