  • James Vincent Forrestal (February 15, 1892 – May 22, 1949) was the United States Secretary of the Navy from 1944-1947, and the first United States Secretary of Defense from 1947 until his death. He led the Navy through World War II, and implemented a policy of racial integration. His death, a fall from a hospital window, has been the center of much speculation.
  • James Forrestal the secretary of defense was one of the first to be claimed by the MIBs. He would have disclosed his information about ufo sightings but unfortunately he comitted suicide by jumping out of a window on the 16th floor of the Bethseda Naval Hospital. Forrestal’s belief eventually came to the attention of Truman and Secret Service Chief U. E. Baughman, who decided that Forrestal was suffering from "a total psychotic breakdown." Symington and Attorney General Tom Clark were feeding stories to journalist Drew Pearson, in particular that Forrestal complained of "being followed by Jews or Zionist agents." Forrestal accused Clark of having the FBI shadow him, which Clark denied, but which according to all of Forrestal’s biographers could well have been true. From what Navy Corpsman
