Spiros lived in a village in the Parthian Province with his wife and infant son. When Xena and her army began making attacks in the area, Spiros left to find help. While he was away, Darphus took over Xena's army and they attacked Spiros' village. His wife was killed but Xena saved his son. Spiros followed Hercules and Illoran who he had seen burying the bodies. He assumed they had killed the villagers and so attacked the duo. He shot Illoran in the shoulder with an arrow, but the boy recovered. Later, in a fight in Parthus, Spiros recognized that Cretus was wearing a bracelet owned by his wife. Realizing that Cretus must have killed her, Spiros killed him. He was re-united with his son.
