- The Protocairn is a BIONICLE combiner model which was released in 2005. It uses the pieces of the sets 8736 Toa Hordika Vakama, 8738 Toa Hordika Whenua and 8740 Toa Hordika Matau. One of Whenua's Thumpers is used as the tail, while Vakama's flames are used to simulate breathing fire. Whenua's mask is the primary headpiece, and there are 2 Rhotuka launchers on each side of the body. Its instructions were once available on LEGO.com.
