Synopsis
  • Lex Luthor, Kobra and Vandal Savage all receive rings at the same time. Each of them wears the ring, which bears a holographic message from a man named Mr. Frost, in which he offers to demonstrate some new technology he is selling by killing the Flash. Flash is running through his new city, Santa Marta, California. He sees a burning building and runs to it. Noting that there is no smoke, he quickly surmises that the fire is not real. He shouts to the civilians that the fire is not real and discovers that neither are they and nor is the building. The building disappears and a hologram of Mr. Frost appears, taunting the Flash. Flash runs back to Keystone City and visits with Linda Park for some peace of mind. After Flash leaves, Argus arrives and Linda asks him to look into Keystone's current disapproval of the Flash. Argus agrees. Back in Santa Marta, a legion of alien troops march down the city street, causing a panic. Flash quickly finds out that they are just a hologram. He runs to an abandoned TV station, which seems to be where the hologram is being broadcast from. He walks in and is zapped by a pair of beam weapons. Mr. Frost brings the body into the broadcast room and displays it for the trio of villains. They laugh and leave as Flash stands up and tells Mr. Frost that he cased the station at super speed and readjusted the weapons before walking in at normal speed. Frost causes a series of illusions and escapes.
