In early September, 2007, Len del Muerte, a member of the alliance BAPS, tech raided a nation showing no Alliance Affiliation. The raided nation was on GGA's member roll, however, so GGA came to its defense and attacked the BAPS raider. BAPS, however, was a protectorate of GOONS, so GOONS defended the BAPS nation under attack. The incident brought GGA and GOONS to the brink of war, foreshadowing the later events of The Unjust War.
