Morei no Oni, most commonly known as "Grain Demons", grew up from the oni rice-eggs contained in the Bag of the Walking Forest in the form of living trees. These "tree branches" were tipped with pus-oozing claws, and their "leaves" constantly drop eggs wherever they walked. Adults laid over a thousand eggs a day which would barren quickly any field. They could be killed boiling the rice-eggs in liquid crystal. If a living creature somehow ingested a Morei no Oni spawn, the spawn would sprout and eat the creature from the inside.
