abstract
| - This article is a request for user rights. Active contributors will vote and after consence is reached they will ether be granted the request for the user right or denied it. This is TOR Wikis' requests for adminship page, on which any user may request administrator or bureaucrat rights. Administrators have many technical abilities that are used for the maintenance and upkeep of TOR Wiki, and a full list of all of the user rights that they have access to can be found at Special:ListGroupRights. When you request rights, (if you are successful) you will have administrator/ and or bureaucrat rights on TOR Wiki. While being an administrator may seem "fun" or "cool", you should consider whether or not you actually have a use for sysop rights before filing a request. If you have only been editing for a few days, you most likely do not have a full understanding of how things are done here, and filing a request for adminship would be unwise. While being an administrator is not a big deal, it is a significant time commitment, and takes a lot of work. Administrators should be active users on TOR Wiki. For requesting bureaucrat rights, place (bureaucrat) beside the user template. Requests made on this page are not a vote, but rather a discussion by the community to see whether or not this user would be a suitable candidate for adminship. All requests (depending on activity and discussion) can be closed after a few days minimum to a week, and if there is consensus to promote at the end of that time then the candidate will be assigned the requested rights. If a user has been nominated for adminship before, add 2 to the end of the topic header. For users with multiple requests, add the respective number of the request. It is also considered good practice to link to previous RfAs when nominating a user. Bureaucrats: please use the following templates to close requests for adminships: If a request is successful, {{subst:PassRfA|Username|Extra comments (if applicable)}} ~~~~ If a request failed, {{subst:FailRfA|Username|Extra comments (if applicable)}} ~~~~ Please use the following templates below to interact with requests:
* {{CommentRfA}} for adding a comment.
* {{SupportRfA}} for agreeing with a proposal.
* {{OpposeRfA}} for disagreeing with a proposal. Please remember to leave a reason with your interactions.
