A place where talk is cheap, and deceit is the norm of the realm. A place where nothing is as it seems. A place within the World of Darkness, welcome to //.etro: Toronto by Night. Metro supports many of the core Storyteller books of White Wolf's ORIGINAL World of Darkness setting: Vampire: the Masquerade, Werewolf: the Apocalypse, Mage: the Ascension, Wraith: the Oblivion, Mummy the Resurrection and Changeling: the Dreaming. We believe in supporting both sides of the coin, the dark and the darker. Now, this does not mean that Toronto is without light, nor does it mean that RP is all about 'I have more angst than you'. Instead, it means that we urge people to understand that in the long run, the stars will go out and the world will be plunged into darkness. How you spend your last moments in the light is what the game is all about. The time is the recent past, with the world gradually succumbing to the World of Darkness by means of elevated corruption and violence. It is a place where humanity makes what may be its last stand against the encroaching night. It is where monsters stalk the filth clogged alleys stalked by even stranger things. It is a never ending cycle of hunters & prey, suckers & providers, and life & death. They say that life is hard in Toronto, but so too is the inevitability of death. Situated on the northwest side of Lake Ontario, opposite from Niagara Falls, Toronto is the largest city in Canada covering 632 sq.km. The melting pot of Canada, Toronto is home to its own China Town, Greek Town, Little Italy and more. Holding a full third of Canada's population and one half of the population of the United States is within one day's drive over the border from this vast city, Toronto is also commercially successful with many patrons.
