| - The way in which the Z Cell functions is by making use of the Zueton particles' natural abilities. By subjecting the battery, and in turn, the particles themselves, to some form of energy, the particles will absorb it and discharge electricity in return. This electric voltage is then conducted throughout the Z Cell, and applied to whatever device or tool makes use of it. Most commonly, heat is used as a cheap, reliable form of charging the battery, albeit other forms of energy are just as useful. And unlike our world's batteries, which are discarded upon being used up, the Z Cells can be recharged; meaning Timber doesn't need to constantly craft new Z Cells to replace older ones, making Z Cells extremely resourceful.

The only known downsides to the Z Cells are due to their scarcity. In a world where batteries are as advanced (if not more so) as cyborgs, the Z Cells have very little, if any, usage in the mainstream market. More contemporary forms of technology aren't prepared for the use of batteries, which makes Timber's weapons the only known tools to run on this power source. Furthermore, to make a proper working Z Cell, one must gather Zueton particles, which aren't widely known to those outside of Stormpiea. This is also because Zueton particles only exist high in the atmosphere, making the creation of Z Cells all but near-impossible. Because of this, Timber is so far the only person in the world to be in the possession of Z Cells.
