Text
| - Like his brother Deityr, Ser Claivyr is tall, blond, and ugly in body and spirit. Unlike his brother, he has a sense of humor.
- "We shall make a present of these minstrels, but the Goldfoots will pay us coin for them."
- One of the more slow-witted laborers, Goland apparently long held a grudge against Rudloff Goldfoot, going as far as foul murder.
- "I should think not. These minstrels are not capable of overpowering a knight. Yet we might turn them over to Ser Deityr, as we lack other findings."
- "That cannot be known until we f-finish an investigation, my [lord/lady]. I would suggest s-sequestering the minstrels until then."
- "Who killed Ser Deityr Goldfoot's knight if it was not these minstrels?"
- "My [lord/lady], I've word that two minstrels performing at the inn last night awoke to find one of Ser Deityr's knights on the floor with a cut throat."
- "We might try deception. The minstrels will proceed with tonight's show, pretending they know the name of the killer. That will bait the real killer."
- "Find a secure place for the minstrels, and have a sworn sword investigate the murder."
- "A sworn sword shall brief the minstrels on this plan for deception."
- "Is there not a way to flush out the real suspect in this murder?"
- "Are the minstrels to blame for this murder, Groat?"
